Stacy’s work focuses on advocating for and empowering tenants in underserved communities and on anti-displacement efforts. Prior to joining us in 2019, Stacy was an Equal Justice Works fellow at Youth Law Center, where she worked with juvenile justice system-impacted young people to combat barriers to education equity in matters of school discipline, special education, reentry, school pushout, and access to higher education. As a law student, she represented clients in housing, disability, and record clearance matters at the Stanford Community Law Clinic, represented youth in education-related matters and worked on education policy reform at the Youth and Education Law Project, interned at the nonprofit legal advocacy organization Public Justice, and served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Jon S. Tigar of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. Stacy received her B.A. from the University of San Diego.
