Juan Camader-Roman | Senior Paralegal, Housing & EAP Programs

Juan was born in Lima, Peru and moved to the San Jose area with his family at an early age. As a Spanish-English bilingual speaker, Juan is passionate about using language to connect people across barriers.

Prior to joining our team, Juan was employed as a tech contractor in the Silicon Valley and participated on a variety of language and data-based projects. Additionally, he worked as an interpreter/translator for the Mountain View-Whisman School District where he was able to apply his fluency in Spanish and English to help teachers and community members understand each other. Through this position he was exposed to serving immigrant and underserved communities in the Bay Area, which is something he hopes to continue doing throughout his work with us and into the future.

Juan received his B.A. in Cultural Anthropology from UC Santa Cruz.
