I was raised in East Palo Alto and recently graduated from UC Riverside with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology. During my time at UC Riverside, I participated in an undergraduate research project examining DEI rollback and completed internships with nonprofit organizations focused on housing and education. I hope to continue using my lived experience in East Palo Alto, a historically marginalized and underrepresented community, along with my academic background and professional experiences to find meaningful ways to support the community I have grown up in and continue to call home.
