Michael Hoosier is a Senior Attorney Fellow with the Economic Advancement Team at CLSEPA, where he focuses his practice on criminal reentry work and worker’s rights. Prior to joining CLSEPA, Mike worked as a clean slate attorney at the Alameda County Public Defender’s Office, and he has been volunteering in criminal reentry/expungement work since law school. Prior to his work at the Public Defender, Mike practiced white collar criminal defense and complex commercial litigation, as well as privacy law. Mike received his JD from Stanford Law School and his B.A. in political theory from Washington University in St. Louis with minors in philosophy and writing. In his free time he enjoys cooking, reading, hiking, and St. Louis Cardinals baseball.
