Prior to joining CLSEPA in 2023, Fernando was self-employed and provided consulting services to non-profit organizations and private business clients in the areas of accounting and taxation. Fernando brings more than 10 years of combined experience in non-profit and the private business sector. Fernando has been involved in his community in various roles from helping to prepare tax returns for free to very low-income individuals at a local nonprofit and organizing members of his community to speak at City Council meetings on topics of interest. Fernando received his B.S. in Accounting and minor in Economics from San Jose State University. He is fluent in Spanish.
