Jonathan joined our organization in 2017 to support its work advocating for and empowering tenants, including immigrants and formerly incarcerated people. Prior to joining us, Jonathan served as a law clerk to Judge Richard Boulware of the District of Nevada in Las Vegas and researched over-incarceration at the Brennan Center for Justice in New York City. Jonathan graduated from Stanford Law School in 2015. In law school he took part in the Criminal Defense Clinic, representing clients in state criminal cases and a federal criminal appeal, volunteered for our Housing Program, and taught at San Quentin Prison with the Prison University Project. He earned his B.A. from Swarthmore College.
