Ashley is a proud citizen of the Navajo Nation. She is a first-generation college graduate from Duke University with a major in Public Policy and minor in Sociology. While at Duke, she enthusiastically led the Native American Student Alliance and strengthened partnerships with multi-cultural organizations. She has aided research on Tribal land policy and advanced Native higher education through her past employment. She hopes to expand upon her policy background and gain knowledge in the legal field. In her role as the Development and Communications Associate, she seeks to create transformative change for marginalized communities through equitable policy, advocacy, and community organizing.
