Luis Rosario Rodriguez | Senior Attorney, Immigration Program

Luis’s passion for public service stems from his own history as an immigrant from the Dominican Republic. He knows first-hand the obstacles new immigrants face and recognizes their compelling need for excellent representation. During law school, Luis worked as a clinical student in the John Jay Legal Services’ Neighborhood Justice Clinic, where he represented workers before the Unemployment Insurance Appeal Board, and the Immigration Justice Clinic, where he represented clients in removal defense and affirmative applications. After law school, as an Immigrant Justice Corps Fellow placed at Catholic Charities Community Services, Luis represented clients throughout the Lower Hudson Valley in New York. Prior to joining CLSEPA, Luis was a removal defense attorney at Bronx Legal Services. Luis holds a law degree from Pace University School of Law and an undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Oneonta.
